We had the best time in Yogyakarta aka Jogja. Here are a few more odds and ends from our time there.
We loved wandering the alleys near our hotel.ViaVia cafe was moments from our hotel, and had tons of vegan food and fun art on the walls. The whisk lamps were a nice touch.ViaVia offered a traditional vegan feast which had to be pre-ordered two days in advance. We couldn’t pass that up! The “welcome drink” (for grownups only) was a sangria-like concoction with fruity bits floating in it.The presentation was 11 out of 10!Yum yum!Krista happy!Dessert was dragondfruit, mango and utri, a steamed cake made of cassava, palm sugar, and coconut milk, wrapped in banana leaves.Ella suka Jogja.Jogja is a center for batik-dyed fabric and clothing, we saw it everywhere. The Gallery Prawirotaman hotel was a sanctuary for us in the middle of the city, with the best pool!View from our hotel room.
The next few photos are miscellaneous sights of Jogja we wanted to hang on to.
