Uluwatu Beach

Uluwatu Beach is a narrow strip of beach at the southern tip of Bali between two cliffs, which is only accessible at low tide.

There was no other Bali beach quite like this one… long and narrow rather than wide! Luckily it was not too busy.
Giant overhanging cliffs on both sides.
Couple selfie with child incoming.
Wait for me!
Couple is time over, back to kid time! Is this a microcosm of the parenting journey? Let’s not think about that!
Ah, the Indian Ocean! A reef break forms the beach and a narrow swimming channel, but with enough current to make the swim not totally relaxing. We were being pushed and pulled even in relatively shallow water.
It’s low key a pretty spectacular place.
Big rocks make for fun pools and caves to explore.
